Its about a young boy that would love to be a school goalkeeper for the school soccer team. His brother is very supportive of him and will always stick up for him when someone would pick on him. Then there's his granddad who is like a coach.   He always would do training and tell him the mistakes he was making. He's always hoping that he will finally be the goalkeeper. Then there's the witch who lives next door.  When the ball goes into her garden they will never get it back. Also, there's a boy who’s always picking on him, but luckily for him, his brother is there to help him out.

Title: What the owl saw

Main characters: Hushy & Coney 

High in a scots pine tree lived a family of long-eared owls. There was a mother, father and two children -a girl and a boy owl.  Coney, the daughter and Hushy was the baby. It’s the custom of the owl family to sleep by day and stay awake at night because owls see in the dark. Hushy looked out one day and it looked so wonderful outside he wondered should he climb outside onto the big branch and get the best view of things.  He looked at his mother and father to see if they were awake. They didn’t seem to be awake.  In fact he could hear his father snoring very loudly. Even his sister Coney was fast asleep very quietly Hushy crept out on the big branch his mother blinked one large eye. O where do you think your going oh just outside mother said Hushy I want to see the world do be very careful said his mother don’t from the branch oh I wont mother his mother shout her eye again and went back to sleep. Hushy looked around the woods. Everything was so lovely there was a red shape just above the tree. It made it made him blink, mother what’s that red shape in the sky that’s a sun Hushy dear. You mustn’t stare at it or it will hurt your eyes. A robin flew by to Hushy and landed on a small holly tree. Then the robin sang ac lovely song on the holly tree. Mother there is something else out here that can sing and it can fly it is robin Hushy and Hushy saw more red animals and they are a Squirrel Fox and a Butterfly and a spider.
