Title: Stanley and the magic lamp

Author: Jeffrey Brown

Main characters: Stanley, Arthur, Prince Haraz & Mr. & Mrs.Lambchop

This book was very enjoyable to read.  It all began millions of years ago, in a place called the Magical Kingdom.  A genie, called Prince Haraz, did lots of pranks on people, which caused him to be expelled to a lamp for two thousand years.  Stanley Lampchop found the lamp on a beach & discovered the genie inside.  He tells his parents but they don't believe at first. His first wish was for an Ask-it Basket to do the brothers homework.  Then Stanley messed up a wish and ended up with a liophant.  Arthur (Stanley's brother) asks to be the strongest man in the world & then they wish to fly & foil a robbery.  Also the next day they see an exhibition by a famous tennis player but Mr. Lambchop trashes him & he storms off.  In the end the Lambchop family decide that the wishes aren't helping them and send the genie back.
