Dublin Metropolitan Police

The "D.M.P. General Register" is a single large volume which records the service details of all members since formation in 1838 up to the cessation of recruitment in 1924, just prior to amalgamation with the Gárda Síochána in 1925.

There are just three Flannerys recorded in the "D.M.P. Index General Register" and the "D.M.P. General Registrar". There are no Flannerys recorded in the smaller "Index to D.M.P. Registrar" (which is incomplete)

The transcripts have been confined to the bare minimum to aid identification for genealogical research. Direct descendants may apply to the curator of the Gárda Museum for further information.
