Orpens Estuary Restaurant, is located 1 mile past the Waterford Regional Hospital on the Dunmore Road. This newly refurbished establishment provides splendid views of Waterford Estuary on the River Suir and the Island, and has a homely atmosphere. The restaurant is a very popular venue for both communions and confirmations, as well as the traditional Sunday Lunch. A wide variety of tastes are catered for ; ranging from fresh Waterford Seafood, Steak, and Modern Irish to European and Vegetarian menus. We are also proud winners of the South Eastern Health Board Food Hygiene Award, the first Waterford Restaurant to win this prestigious award. The Estuary Restaurant also have an extensive wine list for those who are both adventurous and discerning about their wines. A Nutron diet friendly menu is available ( if patrons ring in advance with their diet requirements ). Group Bookings are catered for and there is a capacity of 100 persons.
