On the resumption of play, The Downs upped the pace a gear to take control of the game scoring the goals early in the half to take a nine point lead into the last quarter. At this point a mini Kinnegad revival took place , but they were unable to haul back The Downs lead.

Buy-A-Brick Campaign.
When the club embarked on their plans to build the new centre one of the initatives undertaken to raise finance was the Buy-A-Brick campaign. The Buy-A-brick campaign allowed the local community support the building of the centre by sponsoring a brick for £100. In return for this investment in the building, their contribution would be acknowledged in the centre.
The Buy-A-Brick campaign will shortly be ending on June 30th . Any members of the community who wish to support the new building through this venture can contact treasurer Matt Carley or any committee member.
It is also possible to pay for the brick through Direct Debit.
Lucky Numbers
There was no winner of the IR£2,200 Jackpot in the Lucky Numbers draw. Numbers drawn were 2, 4, 5, 13. IR£50 Prizewinners were Michelle Boyle, Kerrinstown & Michael Loughlin, Loughegar.
We thank Mary Lynch’s for hosting the draw.
