As many of you will know, the government's plans to decentralise much of the Civil Service from Dublin have met with limited success. In an effort to attract Department of Agriculture workers to Portlaoise, a promotional booklet is currently being written. The Department asked for permission to use some of my pictures. Needless to say, I was honoured, not to mention, flattered. It's not everyday I get the chance to move a government. Since the initial contact, I've heard nothing, so maybe my career as a mover and shaker will be shorter than expected...
