I hope that emigrants from the town might find something here that, for a moment, will transport them through time and space. I hope that those of you who have never heard of the place (correctly pronounced Port Leash-a, but commonly called Port Leash with the emphasis on the leash) might like some of the stories or pictures. I expect some locals who never left home to ask "Jaysus, who'd be interested in this place! And the answer is 'You'd be surprised'.
