Mock Interviews.
Very successful mock
interveiws were held in the school on Mon. night last involving almost 40
local interviewers from various areas of employment. Well done to Guidance teacher Ms
Murphy who put in a huge effort to organise this most worthwhile exercise.
Congratulations to leaving Cert student John Muldoon (above) from Gortanumera who played a great game at No. 8 for the Irish U18 rugby team against Italy in Cork last weekend.
Congratulations also to the schoo's Slogadh group and their teacher Miss McDermott who won their section in Westport last weekend.
The school's crest being prepared in the art room. It will be in use at the forthcoming Jubilee 2000 celebrations, a joint initiative involving 5 schools in the region, to be held at The Cistercian College Roscrea in two weeks time.

On Tues April 4th a number of Leaving Cert students accompanied by Mr. Kilkenny paid a visit to Gurteen Agricultural College in Tipperary for their open day
