KILKENNY MUSIC FESTIVAL

Scoil Mhuire, Presentation Primary School had a very successful day on Feb. 17th with two wins in the KILKENNY MUSIC FESTIVAL.

The Soroptomist Shield for best Senior Choir was won by the combined 5th and 6th classes. The adjudicator, Mr. Peter Sweeney, said that they were "most articulate, well-disciplined and excellently entertaining".

The combined 3rd classes won the Eamonn O'Keeffe Memorial Cup for best Junior Choir. The adjudicator's comments included , "a most lovely sound, excellent words, a secure and warming performance, a hoghly motivated group of singers, excellent concentration, learned with such enthusiasm as to gladden the heart!"
