Mission Statement
Presentation College Glasthule under the trusteeship of the Presentation
Brothers is a Catholic post primary school for boys, composed of Students,
Staff and faculty. The Presentation community commits itself to the
development of each student in an encouraging and stimulating environment.
Our Mission is to challenge students to strive for the highest levels
of academic excellence and personal achievement. Arising from this
Mission Statement we are committed to the following aims:
- Academic Excellence: Presentation College Glasthule is
committed to the traditional intellectual disciplines and alms
to develop students who are not only well prepared for third level
education but also confident and assured of their academic talent
and worth.
- Personal Development: Presentation College Glasthuie
assists students to develop self-discipline, personal values,
initiative and the social skills necessary to excel in an ever-changing
world.
- Social And cultural Awareness: Presentation College Glasthule
aspires to produce responsible citizens, who will participate
in promoting the common good; who will show concern for the underprivileged;
who will show an understanding for the religious and cultural
values of others; who will not shirk leadership responsibility.
- Spiritual Growth: Presentation College Glasthule recognises
its responsibility along with parents and guardians to foster
in its students a mature commitment to Christian values and the
Catholic faith.
