Raheny Guiders, Emma Curran and Yvonne Browne, attended the 22nd World Scout Jamboree at Rinkaby, Sweden from 27^th July - 7^th August 2011 as part of the IST (International Scout Team).

Yvonne and Emma were members of the Irish IST Troop, known as Trom. They worked hard to share everything Irish with the people attending the Jamboree, whether they were participants, IST or day visitor's. Emma was also working on the Road Safety Awareness section at the Global Development Village.



Five Guides from the Diocese of Ferns also attended the jamboree as participants. They belonged to the Beith troop, one of sixteen troops and over 800 Irish Scouts/Guides attending.
