The words "Here lyeth the " are superimposed on the headstone along the top of the third line above. Until I realised this, it made the third line very difficult to read. My imprseeion is that the Sanders family may not have been able to afford a new headstone and bought one that had these few words on it. Either it was this or the engraver was very poor.
