I have retained the style of early engravers of sometimes reaching the edge of the stone in the middle of a word and then abbreviating it or continuing it into the next line. An unclear letter or number is indicated by a question mark within brackets; missing words are indicated by dashes.
The text is formatted in lines as on headstones. No attempt has been made by me to copy exactly font size, type face and case. I have however copied italics when they occur. I photographed a small number of the clearer headstones. These are indicated in the alphabetical index; the images appear beside the transcribed text.

Symbols used by me depicting headings on gravestones are

IHS a monogram for the Holy Name Jesus, latinised from Greek - on catholic gravestones only.
