Inspiration
01 Inspiring or animating action
or influence. Something inspired, as a
thought. A thing or person that inspires. Many nations are saved by an inspired
individual ie, Moses (birth of a nation).
02 Theological: a divine
influence directly and immediately exerted upon the mind or
soul of man. The divine
quality of the writings or words of wo/men so influenced. To infuse an animating, quickening, or
exalting influence into. To communicate
or suggest by a divine or supernatural influence. Man needs an extra quality ‘breathed into’
him by God to give him a proper understanding.
Paul uses it to show why the OT writings are different from all other writings of the time. God has breathed upon the word.
03 Inspirit: to infuse (new)

inspiration is usually poured out from such people when affected with this

04 In ancient Celtic myth
there were several cauldrons dispensing the properties of life, death, inspiration and wisdom. In time they gave way to the image of the Holy Grail.
05 In the story of Taliesin, Ceridwen
owned a cauldron which gave inspiration.
06 Ceridwen (Welsch): goddess of
inspiration and initiator.
07 Kvasir (Norse): god of wisdom and
poetic inspiration.
08 Idris (Welsh): any person spending
a night upon this rock will be dead by morning or endowed with the highest
