The MR must move two cells diagonally at a time. They are not
allowed to move horizontally or vertically.
The MR can be blocked from moving if there is a MP/mp one diagonal cell
distant. They are allowed to move two
cells at a time on a diagonal to any part of the board. Notice that there is a MR for the XL and XD diagonals - MR1 and MR2. The MR is not
allowed to cross the river in the middle of the Chinese board. The two MRs are placed
left and right of the ADs at the start of a contest and must move two cells diagonally when required to
move. If there is a MP/mp one diagonal cell from a MR they are not allowed to move beyond this
MP/mp. They act as the GEs outer protective layer. Losing
one of your MRs makes the GE vulnerable to attack by a CN. Anyone who gives service of
any kind. One who serves God in an official capacity.
