Roberts
Cove is located in one of the most scenic bays in
South West Cork, looking out towards the famous
Daunt Rock beacon, which is renowned by Yachtsmen.
It
is situated in a sea inlet resulting from glaciation.
Roberts Cove Inn is built on the site of an old
mill where a community of local monks milled corn.
In latter years, the importing of coal and the exporting
of slate and roof tiles attributed to their income.
