ABOUT SAMCO
Headquartered in Mitchelstown, Samco Engineering specialises in customer specific machinery for material or product handling. The company operates on a nationwide basis with international exports. Samco Engineering was established in 1988, since this time the company has built up a client base within the food, dairy, chemical and construction industry.
| The company has recently relocated to a new 700 square metre building purposely designed to facilitate the fabrication of large - scale projects. The building is situated on 1.5-acre site 1000 metres from the main Cork/Dublin road on the outskirts of Mitchelstown. The company has a current workforce of 20 employees. |
CEO BACKGROUND
| Sam Hyland, founder of Samco Engineering, left for international waters with a sound foundation of knowledge that he learnt from his time working in Ireland. Having experienced engineering methods in South Africa and England he saw the great potential in his locality for a quality engineering company. A sound location has been vital to his success, with many of the country's major companies utilising Samco Engineering services. |
