Hurling

Hurling League

During the month of June, 30 children from different classes in the school took part in a hurling League.

There were 6 teams, with 5 players on each team. Each team played 5 games and every morning the score boards were checked to see which team was in the lead.

Teams E and F made it into the final which was played before a large crowd of spectators. everybody played well and team F were the outright winners. It was great fun.

We had a league within the school and we also played a match against St marys in Baldoyle. I really enjoyed the hurling games. I had not played hurling before. I wear a helmet and use a hurley. School Hurling League
