| Our
school multi-sensory room is a creative and
therapeutic room where the students have the choice
and freedom to explore their environment
safely. The variety of equipment includes a
water bed, bubble tube, mirrorball, fibre optics,
mirage projector, infinity panel and tactile
panels. If is a spacae where people an lie
down and interact in piece and quiet while relaxing
music plays in the background. A lot of the
equipment is switch accessible, which also allows
pupils of all abilities to interact independently
and safely in a stimulating way. it is a huge
success and in the words of one pupil he 'looks
forward to going there every week as it makes me
feel very relaxed'!! |
