Nanahara's Irish Connections?!?!:

• Now, maybe its just the Irishness in me, but I noticed this in the background and thought it was a bit odd. When Nanahara has his flashback to his conversation with Nobu, keep your eyes focused toward the window...its a leprachaun!!! Also, maybe someone can help me on this one, is that Cell from Dragonball Z beside it?

Kawada Looping:

• Not exactly a "background" thing, but it happens in the background none the less. Keep watching Kawadas mouth in the above scene. The line "Of course, my dad's a chef" is looped as his mouth doesn't mouth as he's saying it.

Teletubbies:

• At the very end of the movie, keep a close eye on the sign post behind Nanahara and Noriko. Its the Teletubbies! Jesus, even in a dystopiac Japan in the future, we still can't get away from them!
