BEWARE OF

Beware of, at night the sudden creaking of a cemetery gate

'' '' " " " " ", the cry of a curlew from a darkened lake, a sudden icy wind as you walk down a dimly lit street

'' '' " " " " ",the scratching of nails on a window pain, gurgling noises where there are no drains

'' '' " " " " ",the bellow of a bull at night in sudden pain, a shower of black rain

'' '' " " " " ",a horde of rats as they flee across wide fields of snow, a ghoul in pursuit his face aglow

'' '' " " " " ",movements in the corn on a moonless night

'' '' " " " " ",the sound of footsteps approaching, with no one in sight, a cackling sound as you turn of the light

BRIEF MESSAGE

A magical state of elation pulses through the mysterious inner, as I recite my secret incantations and perform new ritualistic innovations

Light pulses of energy gently travel along the edges of my outer skin before entering my head at the base of my neck and sinking deeper into the Yin

I know it won't cause me to sin.

Dream driven flesh based many bellied dogmas probe my conditioned emotional weaknesses like ravenous dogs

Looks like the roaring flame will soon be no brighter than a spark; soon I will have nothing to light the dark

DEVILS BRIGADE

It happened on Halloween night.

I had just gone to my bed, when a dreadful rapping on my window pane filled me full of dread.

A, large old ugly hag was peering in, the wind was blowing the long hairs on her pointed chin.

She gazed at me with an unwavering stare and said " I, am the queen of witches so beware, beware, beware".

I've come here this evening to give you a special invitation to our special feast, they say that later on the night it will be attended by the beast and then her long bony arm stretched in and put it within my reach.

Now look out through your window into my giant cooking pot, you'll see its not filled with tommy rot..

To you we might seem crazy but later on you'll see whatever meat you eat to-night won't give you C.J.D.

At that moment a goblin burst into my room

He said "don't look so scared sir, I'm just your night time groom'

The horse outside my door had something peculiar sticking out of its head. I said , I thought they were all extinct and long ago since dead.

The Unicorn is not extinct except to those who are easily hoodwinked.

We set off to the local beach the air was full of fun, nymphs were chasing moonbeams while Elf's were drinking rum

Two demons came along hand in hand, sparks flew out off their taloned feet as they tangoed in the sand

Pan was playing his pipes atop the hilly dunes. Fairies were dancing madly to those enchanted tunes. Spirits were stirring slowly among the sea fort ruins as they spun round gaily they created ghostly plumes.

Satyrs were surfing madly out in the blustery bay. I, could hear them shouting loudly ." This might blow all our sins away ".

The dead rose up and were paddling in what looked like odd shaped canoes but when I got much nearer I saw they were all six by twos" coffins"

Ghouls were sitting grimly eating cockles on the beach, as the dead they could not reach.

You see swimming was not their forte after the Demons took their souls away. They dragged me from my mount, they made me suffer pain.

They said they had to do this to make me appreciate their game.

You see a thousand screams you'll hear to-night, some of pleasure , some of fright, now we are sure you'll guess them right.

The other sights I saw that night, I'd gladly tell you well if you could prove that you've been to Heaven and to Hell

HELL OF A DAY

I'll tell you a tale of a day spent in Hell of all that I saw and all that I smelled.

It happened one night after a few lousy pints.

I fell out of bed onto the floor, well to my amazement it opened up into a giant trap door.

A young devil greeted me with an ugly grin his face was aglow, why it was the picture of sin.

Good evening you old ballcock, good evening you old punt, there's been some mistake here you're not due till next month but come in you old bastard and join the old whore " there's plenty of room for the like of you on our pre-Christmas tour."

The first room we came to was filled with bishops and priests.

He said they taste bloody marvellous when slow grilled for a week.

The second room we came to was filled with old flames .

You could hear the tax inspectors howling out their names

We walked along a long long ledge into a giant hall, silent tanned bodies were writhing from wall to wall.

I said judging by their colour have they been to Spain.

Oh no he replied that's the colour of pain.

When you've been cooked like French fries and your tongue slowly boiled for a week , you'll find that's a dammed good reason they cannot speak.

We'll sit down at this juncture in time, grab a bowl of green bile and sit down with the swine.

The smell they gave out was a terrible pong, I expected any second to see old Nick come along.

" Where is the big lad himself ? Is he out on a blind date.

Oh no he replied"' usually at this time he's up on the top shelf eating an Elf".

The next building we came to was like a giant shopping mall except for the smoke and the terrible pall.

This is the home of the greatest of sinners you can tell by their expressions they've lost half their inners

The crack is mighty in here he said with a grin, it makes me feel great to be working with sin.

I'm sorry he said I'll have to cut short your tour a dirty pervert has got caught on a skewer.

Don't worry he said you'll be back in a few weeks and he planted hot kisses all over me cheeks.

The Devil himself came to wave me good-bye

HE SAID "HEY MAN YOU'LL BE GREAT IN MY HOME MADE MINCE PIE" .

NARROW ESCAPE

As the rosy snake wrapped itself around my body like a crown of gentle thorns.

I cried to my Adoni to release me from its grip as my mind began to slip.

The deep oval shaped crystal green eyes have shown me sights of things yet unseen.

I, can now understand completely why Eve fell for its schemes.

O' blue flaming sword of light please banish this once again.

Dark deeds and uncontrolled passions have raged fiercely within the circle of these accursed stones.

The crushing of powerful evil forces shake the remains of the remaining innocent sacrificial bones.

Let me flee from the dark ones before the setting of the sun.

I, still might have yet time to run

CIPHERS

When justice sinks lower than the murky mire, then I, Cephas will come with my unblinking eye.

No thoughts of pity will sway me from my task .

All chance of this has gone once I, was summoned from my peaceful sleep.

Please do not ask for forgiveness at this late stage.

The amount of knowledge you had available should have been enough to make you a sage.

Long black gowns and odd shaped wigs continue an image of a tradition that pursues the truth as far as man could know but now I, Cephas will bring you a justice only God knows.

When death is wished fore with a fervent desire and you would be glad th throw yourself upon an open fire.

I'm Cephas with the unblinking eye I see beyond the midnight sky.

O' why, O' why do they all cry for my destruction

With flaming sword and spear of light, I'll put these rats to final flight

The bats of hell will get the smell, they know it well, so very well

All men whisper my name and deadly fame.

Don't cross me now for unfair gain or else you'll feel unearthly pain

I'm Cephas with the dreaded name with sword of flame no thought for pain, my unblinking eye sees far beyond your midnight sky.

Through valleys high, through valleys low, through barren wastes, through fields of ice and snow.

No matter where you bloody go, I, will know.

The vultures fly high up in the sky waiting for what they know will surely die

Their bellies swell with fruits for hell

I'm Cephas with the unblinking eye beware you don't call for my destruction

DEMON

Silently it made its way along the winding river banks.

Everywhere it passed gave out gases and stank.

Using reeds and rushes as a myriad host of ushers.

Spotting fish and frogs with its blood red eyes.

Swallowing hordes and hordes of night flies.

It's mission to collect souls to keep.

Silently coldly passing over all who sleep.

From the meek and the mild, from grown up to a child.

From the proud and the loud and from those under shroud.

I, have seen you O' mighty Demon in the dead of one night, when I woke up with a fright.

From then on, I've taken more care, much more care
