Shanganagh Ramblers Hillwalking Club
Shanganagh Ramblers Hillwalking Club

Welcome to the Shanganagh Ramblers homepage.

The club, which is based in Shankill in south county Dublin meets every two weeks on Sundays, usually at either 9.00a.m. or 10.30a.m., depending on the walk length.

Most of our walks start and finish in the car park at Brady's pub in the center of Shankill.

For the long (approx. 5 hours) walks we use a coach, which costs €15 per member, ( 20 for non members) to take us to the start of the walk and collect us at the end.

For short (approx. 3 hours) walks we use cars (you will always get a lift from somebody if you don't have a car) or occasionally C.I.E. bus or DART. ( and occasionally a boat! )

Non-members are welcome to join the club on two walks and are asked for a   5 contribution per walk. Further information on joining the club can be found here

The walks list has been updated to include all walks up to April 2008
