Oirbsen's at Knockferry Lodge
Oirbsen's Restaurant at Knockferry Lodge is situated on the south western shore of Lough Corrib. The restaurant offers panoramic views of the narrowest section of the Corrib, or as it was known in days past, Lock Oirbsen. The name derives from the mythical sea-god, Oirbsiu Mac Allóid, commonly called Manannan Mac Lir, "The Son of the Sea". Oirbsen's menus, featuring locally supplied trout, salmon and lamb, are accompanied by homegrown, additive-free, vegetables, fruits and herbs.
OPENING HOURS: Dinner, seven days a week in Summer.
Sunday Lunch all year round.
SPECIALITY: Irish Farmhouse Style Cooking
