Spectacles

There was small farmsteads built on the side of the hill in about 900AD. Most of the farming was done away from these houses. The small fields on the side of the hill near the lake were used  as vegetable gardens and to protect young and sick animals. Bones of cattle, sheep, pigs and dogs were excavated.

    We had great fun slipping and sliding down the mucky hill.
