War and Peace
Killing and guns! Oh how I hate war.
Men shouting, women and children crying.
Armies are fighting, everyone is full of fear and hatred.
Innocent men, women and children being killed.
Love and happiness Oh! how I love peace.
No fighting, no guns, no killing no more.
There's laughing and smiling, everyone's happy.
And bullies say sorry.
Let the drums of peace echo from hill to hill and town to town.
Let the drums of peace beat in our hearts for ever and ever.

The Dove in the
Sky.
I saw a dove in the sky,
It was as white as snowflakes,
I called it down.
It came down as sound as a pound.
I was very angry with my brother.
The dove grabbed my shoulders,
And flew past a boulder,
And on the boulder there was a man,
He said he could jump off the cliff and still be alive.
Then I would give him five!
Five pounds of course!

The visit of the Garda
Garda Brosnan called to the school. She was in her garda uniform and hat. She
explained about traffic, drugs, detectives and courts. There are traffic police
and speed police. Detectives work with police under cover. They do not wear
uniform.
The name of the courts are district, circuit, high and supreme court. The
district court is mainly used. The Garda said in the police car the driver drives
and the passenger observes. On the motorway the speed limit is 70mph. It is very
important not to break the speed limit. The Garda had handcuffs and put them on
the teacher.I think she should have left them on him.She also showed us her hat.

Characters
The characters were extraordinary. I thoiught
they all seemed real. I still find it hard to read some books but this book the
characters were so good I go to school and I can't put the book down.
I thought the book was the best ever. I would recommend it for any age at all.
