ST Patrick

ST Patrick lived in Wales

He was captured by men for a

Few years months and days

He was brought to Ireland

By sails. Minded sheep.

He yawned from very

Little sleep.He liked to

Pray every minute and

Every day.When he

Went on the sails built

With wood and shiny

Nails.He went back

Home and after a

While travelled to Rome.

He trained to be a priest

And soon after became

A Bishop he heard a kids

Voice saying come back

Patrick and tell us about God

So when he asked the Pope

He replied yes

So off he went all joyful

And looking his best.

And that was the story of

ST Patrick.

St Patrick

I’ve heard a lot of tales,

Of Patrick who lived in Wales,

Some people came and took him,

And brought him over to Ireland,

They sent him up the mountain,

To mind all of their sheep,

One night he had a dream,

That a boat was waiting for him,

So off he went to Wales,

But had another dream,

That told him that we needed him,

To teach us about God,

So back he came to Ireland,

And got rid of all the snakes,

And we liked him so much,

He became our patron saint.

He came from Wales a long time ago.

He ate some snails in the snow.

He got rid of snakes in Ireland.

He made cakes on his own country.

When the Irish kidnapped him.

The ship was rocky.

The kidnapper snapped

Is he a child ?

He went on to become a Bishop

He died eventually.

He was known as ST Patrick.

Patrick was a man

Who came from Britain.

He was mostly to be seen

Wearing green

When Patrick was a lad

He was taken from his Dad,

It was so very sad

Those Irish were very bad.

ST Patrick prayed every day,

Then sometime in May,

God gave him a job.

He realized he was not

An unlucky sod

And from Ireland he

Got away!

One day Patrick came back

And taught an Irish pack

About God,

And God said that Patrick

Had done a good job.
