From Roscommon Champion

However Eire Of got off to a fantastic start to the second-half with two quick goals from Michael Creighton. The Loughglynn club held the lead until 10 minutes from the end when Caldwell pounced for his second, and ultimately decisive, goal.
Strokestown with quite a number of senior panellist on their team, including Morgan Beirne and Derek Hagan who had played for Roscommon in the FBD Connacht League the day before, finished strongly and added on a series of points before the end to set up a final meeting with St. Aidans next Sunday.
