Achievements

The abilities of the pupils are many and varied including as they do, the academic, creative (Song & Dance) and the artistic. In 1997, in conjunction with the American poet Cynthia Millen, two books of poetry were published. Everyone involved with the school felt these where both great achievements.

The first "On the street where I live" was illustrated by the pupils of fourth Class and shows their artistic talents at work.

The second "Between the Rhymes" consisted of poems composed by the pupils of sixth class and represented a collaboration between them and those of Belfast and Toledo, Ohio.

Both books illustrate a strong sense of community spirit and pride as displayed by both the Daughters of Charity and residents of the area.
