After School Club

Larkin community College runs an after schools club on Monday to
Friday. It is open to boys and girls aged 10 and over who live
in the catchment area of the school.

On Tuesday the 22nd of October the girls from Fourth Class and
Miss. O'Connors Class were invited to Larkin College. Tuesday is
P.E. day and the coaches were on hand to guide and encourage us.
Also three of the First Years, who were past pupils of our school
assisted us.

Larkin College have the largest rock climbing wall in Ireland but
that didn't daunt us! Lorna, Cody, Sarah Jane, Jade and Yasmin
reached the top. The college also provided Basketball, Table Tennis
and Football facilities, but the most astounding part was the fully
equipped gym upstairs.

We were very hot and red by the time we had tested the rowing machine,
treadmill, punch bags and step machine.

We all decided we would go to that Secondary School. It was ace.
