The Chase is located on the lower slopes of Mount Leinster, just 1km outside of the beautiful little town of Bunclody. which is noted for the Mall stream running down its Main Street and for the song "The Streams of Bunclody". The Lodges and Mews are privately situated and surrounded by scenic views of mountains, woods and countryside. In the immediate vicinity you will find private walks along the Clody river, native woodland, streams and country lanes. The perfect country retreat!

Welcome to the Chase

Welcome to The Chase, Bunclody, Co. Wexford. We offer country lodges to rent on secluded privately owned farm - long term and medium term accommodation in a peaceful country setting just outside the town of Bunclody in County Wexford. No short term leases.

The Lodges (suit 2 - 5 people)
THe Lodges

The two-storey Lodges (93m sq.) were built in 2005 from original granite farm buildings and are fitted to the very highest standard. Each lodge consists of:
2 bedrooms (twin or double);
west facing sitting room with sun lounge;
2 bathrooms;
a fully-fitted kitchen (all electric fittings: cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner).
The Lodges have electric central heating, an open fire in living room and all doors and windows are double-glazed.
Entry to the Lodges is via a private driveway. The Lodges share a generous common car parking yard to the front and each has a private south west facing fenced garden with patio and BBQ area. Each Lodge has a secure storage house opening onto the shared yard.

The Mews (suit 1 or 2 people)
The Mews

The Mews is attached to the main house, with its own private entrance and secluded west facing garden. The two-storey Mews has:

One, ensuite double bedroomn;
Open plan kitchen/dining/living room with an old style fireplace;
Fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner;
Oil fired central heating.

Phone, TV and computer points fitted in all houses. The water supply is from a private spring well.

The minimum rental period for the Chase Lodges and Mews is six months. These quality homes are ideal for couples, professional working people in the area or commuting, retired couples and families wishing to relocate or those wanting a second home as a get-away from it all at week-ends or holidays.

Fully furnished to the highest standards, all your needs are catered for. Cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and bed linen are not supplied.
