The authentic tradition of song and music in Ireland is captured on this CD which features people from the parish of Ardfield & Rathbarry in West Cork recorded live in the local bars.

A number of the singers are accompanied by musicians, and the album includes three instrumentals, but for the most part, this is unaccompanied singing in the grand old style. The album is produced by Steve Pawsey. (Track List)
