 GRAND NATIONAL DRAW FOR 2001

Cards are being distributed at present for our yearly draw on the English Grand National which takes place in April.  Lines cost 50p and although it is a cliche, if you are not in you cannot win.  Those lucky enough to draw the name of a horse running in the race will be notified in plenty of time to cheer it on.  Cards are on sale throughout the county so be sure to sign up.

THE 'BLUE AND GOLD'

Congratulations to Keiran McGuire, Captain of the successful senior hurling team in 2000, who took part in the Tipp v Waterford Challenge match in aid of the St. Joseph's Hospital, Clonmel, CAT Scan Appeal.  Tipperary were comfortable winners in the end and the Swan supporters present were proud to see, and cheer on, one of their own in the 'Blue and Gold'.

NEW HALL

The official opening of the new Indoor Training and Recreation Hall will take place on Feb. 13 and all are welcome.  If you wish to take a more recreational look at the hall , why not come to Bingo every Thursday night at 8 p.m.  The more the merrier.  Email or contact any committee member for more information.   While on the subject of 'Bingo', why not play from the comfort of your own home? A Swan  bingo game is available from any committee member at £1 each and are on sale every Monday. Let us know if you would like one delivered to your door.
