NORWEGIAN FIDDLE FEST
Saturday 13th to Thursday 18th August, 2005
Tig Roy will play host to a visit by the young members of the Norwegian Fiddle Group called Strøknejenter.
The week's visit will consist of fiddle classes in traditional Irish fiddle music and Irish dancing for the visiting group. In return
the Norwegian fiddlers welcome fiddlers of all ages to join in an afternoon workshop of traditional Norwegian fiddle playing on
Tuesday 16th August, 2pm to 5pm. Also Tig Roy will host a concert of traditional Norwegian and Irish music on Wednesday 17th at 8pm.
