| St Leonards playgroup is a community run playgroup, which is in
existence since September 1989.
The playgroup caters for 32 children. There are two groups, 16 in each group. The
children are aged between 3 and 5 years. There is a play leader and an assistant in
charge, Myna and Breda. Each group are in the play group for two and a half hours, three
days a week.. |
Their basic daily routine offers a wide variety of play
activities, such as paint, sand, Water, dough, junk art, books and story time, table toys,
puzzles, large equipment and floor toys, songs and action rhymes. Every year they bring
the children on a school outing.
Their service is a valuable asset to pre – school children.
The playgroup provides a mini – bus service, which collects the children from
their homes, and takes them to the playgroup.
We are former members of St Leonards playgroup, eight years ago, and we enjoyed our
time there very much. We would highly recommend it.
