Every two years we have a school concert. Last year, we decided to have it at Easter. All the children in the school took part. From third to sixth class did a musical called Hosanna. All the children and teachers tried very hard to get the music right. Finally it came the time to have a dress-rehersal in the school hall. Nobody was left out in the concert. Infants did a play called Humpty Dumpty. First and second classes did a play called The Golden Goose. The day of the concert came everyone in St. Leonards was very excited. We had to put on make-up so the people in the crowd could see us right. At first we were very nervous but when we got on stage it went excellently. After the show, the children had a party and the adults had tea and cake.
