Macy Gray…On How Life is

………..You know what macy should have called this album?
On How Repeating Yourself Gets You Rich.

Like everyone else, I thought I Try was pretty cool.
Like everyone I thought Do Something wasn't quite so cool, but it was still okay.
Then, one day standing in HMV, I heard Still, and I had to have it. Oh boy. The problem with this CD is not that it's crap per se, it might be easier to slate it if it was, it's just that it's like one long song that forgets to end! They're all the damn same, every one.

They're all full of samples that don't need to be there, they're all packed with layer upon layer of sound, which is not always a bad thing, but only when it's not done to the detriment of the music. Still stood out as the best track on there, and everything else…well, there's some great B-sides in here. Remember B-sides? If you liked the singles, you'll like the entire CD, cause they're all the singles, if you know what I mean.

Will your chick like it…….

Yes, cause women all have crap taste in music. They think anything that's NICE means its GOOD. Learn the difference girls. In the meantime, go and buy something by Jim Steinman

Coffee…..

Don't make too much, the whole CD is only about eight minutes long. All right, a little longer than that, but it's pretty short - I can't tell you how short cause I exchanged it two days after buying it - and I suppose it would be worse if it was longer.
