Judi Dench (t.f. "A Fine Romance")
Judi Dench starred in the ITV comedy series "A Fine Romance" in the early-mid eighties and wore more than just one classically tailored trenchcoat during the series run. Although she was never one of my favourites from that period, Judi had a proud air about her which was somewhat reflected in her dress, hence the trench. Anyone familar with her appearences in the James Bond films will no doubt regard Dame Judi as a craggy-faced, stern Englishwoman, but in her prime Judi was a very attractive and beautiful lady and in her trenchcoat she was the epitomy of her genre. Judi also wore on most occasions a pair of heavy-heeled boots (usually brown) which complimented her trench and finished off perfectly the ensemble.
