What are Rainforests?

This is a fun game you could play at parties.  Get everyone to draw and cut out 2/3 pictures of animal that live in the rainforest.   Make a few pairs of binoculars out of old toilet rolls.   Then, hide the cut out animals all around the house.  Everyone has to try and find the hidden animals.   You could organise people in teams, or they could work on their own.    Everyone has to pretend that they are explorers in the rainforest. 

I wonder will your bird look a little like me?

You will need:

Craft feathers

Glue

(1)   Trace the Pattern onto poster board, or print it on card.

(2)   Glue feathers on both sides.

(3)   Punch a hole in the top and add string

(4)   Hang in the room.

Scaly Snake

You will need:

Tissue paper, or felt cut into circles, in green, brown, or others if you want to make a multicoloured snake.

Glue

(1)   Print the pattern onto card.

(2)   Glue felt or tissue onto the pattern in layers.

If you want to make a puppet out of your snake, you should:

(1)   Layer, or colour both sides

(2)   Add a long string on the front of the snake, and one towards the end. 

(3)    Move the string up and down to make the snake squiggle!!!
