Pictures from 1998-1999!
Ah, the year the club exploded, with 79 people down for the first beginner class. 47 people graded for the first grading, and for the first time ever UCD hosted the Intervarsities. There was the club trip away to Galway which saw Dan and Caoimhe unleashed onto the club for the first time. Chris and Conor Nolan went to Germany, and Orla McKenna became the first person to grade to black belt within the club.

Well, after hosting the Intervarsities for the first time, we decidied to take the other clubs on in another form of competition - a drinking one! First Sports Bar then Mono, it set the standard for what was to come in later years ...

Happy Hour, cocktails, Chicago Pizza Pie Factory - its not suprising most of the photos from the end of term party in 1998 have been long destroyed...
