| Hey you guys!!!!
If you remember last year we
wrote to you about our One World Hike, we came up
with the idea of re-naming the hike the “Silly
Hat Hike” & we kept up that tradition.
We covered Rush in colourful posters designed by
one of our ventures Liesl Fox, inviting the
people of Rush & everyone who was interested
to join us in coastal hike of Rush.
Our aim was to raise as much
money as possible for the cause, which was “CRADLE”
(Chernobyl Children). So on the 19th
of November Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Ventures,
Leaders, Parents & Friends gathered outside
our Scout Den. Two of our ventures Sinead Martin
& Stephen Weldon collected 1.00 of everyone
& we successfully raised 80.00 everyone wore
a Silly Hat & great crack was had by all.
The 38th Rush
Ventures would like to thank everyone who helped
us to help the Chernobyl Children, we would
especially like to thank our Venture Leaders Mick
King & Chloe Weldon and we know they enjoyed
being chased around the beach by lots of
screaming Beavers.
