What to expect ? Well it’s a long country full of Italians. So that means good walking and no shortage of hand waving, hand waving being a favoured way of communicating. It’s the land of Cristopher Columbus, Marco Polo and St.Francis so that’s map reading, venturing into the unknown and chatting with the locals all made easy.

It’s a land of sports enthusiats like ourselves , a land of food lovers and a land of sun, lots of sun , 35 degrees of sun. It’s a country that manages to keep hold of it’s past while continuing to welcome the future.

Expect questions about our country as Italians have a fascination for our green land , our music and our cows. It’s a country made up of many regions and so, many differences , a little like our own. So expect varying opinions and a few contradictions.
