In
celebrating our 25th anniversary next year our committee have
decided the location and format for the proposed foreign trip next year. Location
- Samoens in the French Alps. (see
attached file for more info) Dates: - Currently
reserved for Sunday 10th June to 17th June 2012. Later end of June or July
not available. Cost: - 544 euro plus air fare. Air fare returns can vary from
around 130
euro up to 220 euro depending on time of booking etc. The club will book the
flights. Currently these flights are
not available on the Aer Lingus
system and will not be until later in the year. Only then can we confirm the
exact cost. Overall cost is going to be in the region of 700 to 750 euro. Savings
club - To
help members spread the cost over a period of several months
we are proposing to set up a system to enable people to pay a monthly amount
of 100 euro after an initial securing deposit has been taken. The full cost
must be paid by March 2012. Des McConville and Mick
O’Driscoll will be responsible for this. Deposits Open to paid up members
only. An initial deposit of 100 euro secures a place. We will take names and
deposits on the second walk in August ie: Sunday 28th
August. This deposit will be refundable only up to time of flight bookings in
the event of someone having to cancel. To
book a place a deposit of 100euro along with the following details: Passport

couple of important points: Everyone
must have their own travel/medical insurance – the reservation does not
include this. Please
make collection of monies as easy as possible for administrators – all monies
