Fun & Feathers illustrated wildlife event with Dave Daly

Dave Daly is a freelance wildlife artist with a particular interest in Irish birds and their environment. A member of WWF Artists for Nature Foundation, he has participated in wildlife conservation projects in Poland, Spain and France. Books illustrated by him include, 'The Garden Bird Year' and 'The Birds of Britain and Ireland'. He has worked with many schools, imparting a love and fascination of wildlife through the medium of drawing and painting. Dave will give an illustrated wildlife presentation for young nature and art lovers.


An environmental bookmark competition for schoolchildren is being held and Dave will present prizes (on Sat. 1 April @ 11.30 in Wexford library) of book vouchers to the winners in the following categories:

4-7 years
8-10 years
11-13 years

Dave will visit the class of each winning pupil. As well as the individual prizes there will be an overall school merit prize and Dave will also visit the winning school of this section of the competition.
