The Booklovers Guide!
Saturday 1st April at the Riverbank House Hotel, Wexford,

11 am – 1 pm. Admission €10.00

Wexford Book Festival is hosting a ‘novel’ event,
‘The Booklovers’ Guide! - for book clubs, readers groups and other avid readers  from around the country. If you like to read books and talk about them read on!

Our event will kick off with coffee on arrival, before Kate Bateman, School of English & Drama UCD will introduce the topic “Read Rigorously - Read Well!”, a discussion of the aims and methods of reading, appreciating and analysing critically. After this, groups will have an opportunity to share their experiences, swap lists, talk about those books which caused most discussion in your group or that you just have to recommend to others - what about books the critics loved and you hated?

You choose the books you want to talk about; your recommendations will rouse others to agree, disagree, be even more enthusiastic than you, defend the indefensible - it will all depend on you!

Why not bring some of your friends from your reading circle and join us for this fun and informative workshop.
