We sometimes receive requests, mostly from
people living overseas, for information regarding the "Finnerty" surname.
Most of the queries we receive are all contained
in the three basic questions set out below:
Please Note: There is a fairly large number of spelling variations for
the "Finnerty" family name (both in English and in Celtic);
and for the purpose of these notes we have tried to restrict these
variations to one in each of the two separate languages:
"Finnerty" (English), and "O' Fionnachta" (Celtic).
