Location

The stained-glass memorial occupies the east and west windows of the church. The bronze memorial is located in the stairwell, alongside a similar memorial from Donore Church.

Type

Stained-glass windows and bronze memorial.

Inscriptions & Imagery

The six full length windows on the east and west walls of the church each have the same design. Each corner window also has the inscription:

These Windows are Erected

In Honour of Those Who Served & Fell

In the Cause of Freedom

1914-1919

The bronze-memorial has been altered to incorporate casualties from the Second World War. It has a simple border. The main inscription is:

In Memoriam

"They counted not their life dear unto themselves."

IN MEMORY OF Our Fellow Worshippers

Who Fell in the Great War 1914-1919

This is followed by the names of twenty-seven casualties. Five casualties of the Second World War are listed under the title 1939-1945. At the bottom of the memorial are the words:

'Rolls of Honour of all those who served in both Wars have been

prepared and are preserved with the Church Records."

27 casualties listed alphabetically, with full names and medals. Those with known Dublin links are listed here.
