Location

Donore Church on the South Circular Road is now the Dublin Mosque. Its memorial has been placed alongside the memorial in the Adelaide Road Presbyterian Church.

Inscriptions & Imagery

The regimental badges of the units the four casualties belonged to are set in the corners of the memorial. The units are the Royal Irish Fusiliers (top-left), Connaught Rangers (bottom-left), Irish Guards (top-right), Royal Dublin Fusiliers (bottom-right). The main inscription reads:

In Grateful and Affectionate Remembrance of

[List of casualties]

who gave their lives in their country's service

during the Great War 1914-1919.

Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil.
