Reebok Treadmill Reviews |
What attracts most people to buying Reebok treadmills? Unquestionably
it's the name -- one that's associated with quality, distinction and
to a certain extent, status. Think about it... Falling into the mid price range a typical Reebok treadmill will set you back $1200 to $2000. It's a price tag that attracts the more serious runner or those with lots of disposable income. Assuming you want the very best value for your money are Reebok treadmills your best choice? Experts in treadmill assessment, Treadmill Doctor, suggest that the bells and whistles on Reebok treadmills don't make up for some "...comprises in component construction". Apparently you pay for the name, but that doesn't stop people buying their sports apparel en mass! Don't confuse the Reebok treadmills you see in a commercial gym with those sold for home use. They are entirely different machines built by different companies. In fact a company called Icon Health and Fitness own the license to produce the home version of Reebok Treadmills. Some of Icon's other brands of treadmill like Proform and Weslo are notorious for their short warranties. However the warranties for parts and labor on Reebok treadmills are good. On most models the frame is covered for a lifetime, the belt and deck for 2 years, as are all electrical and mechanical components. Labor is covered for 12 months. Most importantly the motor has a 2-3 year guarantee. It goes without saying however, to check with the supplier. If you don't have the time or inclination to compare the costs and features of all the different brands, then Reebok are a safe bet. They are very solid machines. You can rest easy knowing the company will be around five years from now should your treadmill need a service... We Like: For
sub $900 this Reebok is a pretty average treadmill. For the price the
equipment levels are decent and the only thing outstanding is the large
running surface. Smooth’s 5.0P
for an extra $150 is a much better bet. Folding: No

Reebokhas a very similar specification to Reebok’s lower priced
RTX 455. The only real difference is a heart rate monitor and a 2.0HP
motor that offers a lightening top speed of 12mph. This is an all-out
sprint for most people which is not recommended on a treadmill. It also
has a running surface is good and construction quality is far superior
to the RTX 455. Folding: No

Sports Authority are selling this Reebok machine for the same price
as RX 2000 at the moment, and they are also throwing in free shipping.
This is great value because this machine normally retails at $300 more
than the RX 2000. Admittedly there is almost no difference in specification
and like the RX 2000 some 2 lb weights are included to tone your upper
body as you got through your cardio conditioning. Folding: No

$400 up the ladder we arrive at the RX9200, and like the Reebok RX8200
it has some many gadgets, even 007 would be happy. Folding: Yes Our Star Rating System: Copyright © 2003 exercise-equipment-reviews.net. All rights reserved. reebok treadmills, reebok treadmill, review, reviews |
