The knocking of HELL returns. The lost souls are still not satisfied. Hell demands proof of blood – the final sacrifice.

Last Supper

At The Last Supper Jesus fore-tells his future. He is destined to die. He tells his disciples that this is the beginning of the end. He will show them what will happen, when the time is right. He walks off to be alone.

Jonah & Jesus Alone

Jonah is sitting on a hillside and prays to God: ‘take away my life, it is better for me to die than to live. What’s been the point of my life?’
Jesus is alone: ‘take this cup of suffering from me.’
He returns to the disciples. ‘It is time’. A company of actors from Coventry perform his Passion – the ‘Galway’ cycle. The disciples watch.

The Galway Cycle

Three carts arrive again.
The Garden of Gethsemane – Judas arrives and kisses Jesus. Soldiers arrive and arrest him.
The Trial - Pilate washes his hands. The Crowd cry ‘crucify him’
On the road to Calvary, Jesus walks with the cross.
Crucifixion
The crucifix rises up in the crown of thorns. We hear: ‘it is finished.’
