Mysteries 2003

HELL is knocking again. It is taunting Jesus calling him a sorcerer, HELL is not impressed by magic tricks and goads Jesus to prove himself further.
Preaching & Miracles	Jesus goes about the task of creating a ministry for himself with great energy. We see a parade of preaching and miracle scenes. Mary talks at home of the news of her miracle-worker son. The disciples tell tales of Jesus’ deeds. Jesus is not satisfied. John The Baptist’s head on a plate appears. This image deeply disturbs Jesus. He revisits Jonah’s story.
Jonah & The Ninevites	Jonah is with the Ninevites, telling them of the error of their ways. They repent instantly. Jonah slopes off, depressed at how easy it all was. Why bother? Seeing this confirms for Jesus that some greater action is needed from him. There is no way back
Ride on a Donkey: the Temple	Jesus walks out of his wilderness. He rides the donkey to Jerusalem and scatters the money in the temple. ‘This is a wicked generation, but one who is greater than Jonah is here.’ The crowd recognises him by his actions in the temple to be their Messiah. Jesus is pleased.
